Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one qualified supplier who will disassemble and remove the existing unit and install a new Amerikooler or Equal Brand to Athens Technical College (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. The College is seeking a one-time purchase with a supplier that will disassemble and remove the existing unit and install a new Amerikooler or Equal Brand. The equipment will be used at 212 Bryant Rd. Monroe, Georgia 30655. Athens Technical College will be hosting a Mandatory Prebid Meeting for all contractors interested in submitting a bid proposal for this project. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the project in detail, to complete a site visit, and to discuss the bidding requirements. Attendance is MANDATORY for all companies that plan to bid. Companies should review the documents attached to the Bid Notice on the Georgia Procurement Registry and the documents attached to the Bid Event within Team Georgia Marketplace System prior to attending the conference and come prepared to ask questions about the project. A representative from the bidding company must physically attend the conference/site visit in its entirety and sign the Prebid Conference Sign-in Sheet in order for the company to be considered eligible for contract award. The College and TCSG reserve the right to consider any representative that arrives late to the conference to be ineligible to participate in the bid process. Company representatives are strongly advised to allow ample travel time to the conference to ensure attendance prior to the start of the meeting. Company representatives must also bring a business card to the conference and provide it to the designated Meeting Coordinator for verification.
