When and if funds become available a contract will be awarded at that time. g) Offerors shall submit proposals and questions, and acknowledge solicitation amendments as stated in section "L" of this solicitation The work of this contract is to construct a fire cache to help battle any future forest fires in the area. Project Location: The project is located at North Cascades National Park Service Complex 4.5 miles from Stehekin, WA. There are three different parts to this project, Utilities, Fire Cache and Dormitory. The Utilities scope of work includes extending power distribution (electrical service) lines to the firefighting facilities, providing a new water storage tank, rehabilitation of an existing groundwater well, new water distribution for both fire suppression and domestic and water service lines, and an installing new septic system sized for the treatment of wastewater produced by the fire cache and dorm facilities. The Fire Cache scope of work includes the construction of a new Fire Station-Cache-Operations building approximately 3,019 square foot in size. The Fire Dormitory scope of work includes construction of a new dormitory approximately 3,705 square foot in size and co-located with the Fire Cache. The dormitory will house 8 to 16 personnel in eight (8) bedrooms, with ability to house up to 20 personnel on a short-term basis.
