This questionnaire is intended as a basis for establishing the qualifications of a Contractor for undertaking construction work under the jurisdiction of Queen Anne's County Public Schools. For this project, bidders shall have been in business for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of issuance of this bid, and shall have been a contractor who has performed similar services of a similar design and work scope of this project for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of issuance of this bid. Each Bidder shall deposit with his proposal a Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (5%) of the Base Bid. The form of the Bid Bond shall be AIA Document A310 Bid Bond - 1970 edition or equivalent. Bond Requirements are for projects greater than $100,000. (Bid Bonds and Payment and Performance Bonds are not required for Bids below $100,000). All bids shall be irrevocable for one-hundred twenty (120) days after bid opening date and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security bond. QACPS reserves the right to cancel this request for bids and/or reject any or all submissions and to waive any informality in any proposal. The contractor or supplier who provides materials, supplies, equipment, and/or services for this construction project shall attempt to achieve the result that a minimum of ZERO percent of the total contract value is made directly or indirectly from certified minority business enterprises.
