Renovation of an educational facility in Lakeland, Florida. Working plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.
The project is located at Lawton Chiles Middle Academy. Bidders must be pre-qualified HVAC contractors pursuant to Polk County Public Schools Facilities and Operations Pre-Qualified Vendors procedures. Potential bidders that are not currently pre-qualified vendors will be given the opportunity to pre-qualify during this ITB solicitation. The scope of work shall include, without limitation: the removal and legally disposal of existing HVAC unit(s) (including but not limited to EPA approved freon recovery from existing units) and furnishing and installing new appropriately sized replacement HVAC systems as indicated in the Invitation to Bid. Only prequalified firms will be allowed to provide bids.
