The Municipality intends to retain a Contractor to undertake the construction of a lagoon expansion in the Hamlet of Anzac in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. This project will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 work scope includes but not limited to monitoring wells installation, anaerobic cell construction, facultative cell construction, storage cell 3 construction, earthwork, outfall completion, relocation of discharge for existing 100mm forcemain, sampling of all monitoring wells as per Provincial guidelines, directing all sanitary flows to the anaerobic cells and substantial completion inspection. Phase 2 work scope is includes but not limited to rehabilitate the existing facultative and storage cells, dewater old cells to new storage cell 3, removal of sludge from existing facultative and storage cells, remove old outfall structure, subcut below existing cells to remove unsuitable material, complete new facultative cell 1, complete new storage cell 2 with expansion, commission the complete lagoon system and substantial completion Inspection for Phase 2. This project will be completed in two phases and the completion dates for the two phases are as follows: PHASE 1 Substantial Performance Date August 31, 2024. Total Performance to be achieved within 30 days following Substantial Performance of the Work. Phase 2 Substantial Performance Date September 27, 2025.
