This Request for Proposal is being re-issued with a modified timeline. The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the "City") invites Bids from qualified consulting firms to provide full archaeological consulting services. These services will support a pedestrian bridge crossing and connecting trails at the Credit River, in proximity to archaeological site AjGw-664 (Steen Site), within Credit Meadows Park (P-122) in Mississauga. In support of the Credit Meadows Park Expansion Project, to allow for construction of a pedestrian bridge crossing and connection trail, the Consultant will complete Stage 2 and Stage 4 Archaeological Assessments of the Steen Site (AjGw-664), as per the recommendations of the completed Stage 3 Archaeological Assessment, and in accordance with Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture industries (MHSTCI) 2011 Standards and Guidelines for Consultant Archaeologist. The work will include background review, coordination of engagement with Indigenous communities, archaeological test excavation, analysis and report preparation, approvals.
