The Scope of Work consists of Construction of a Destination Playground as outlined by the project documents (plans and specifications) to include, however are not limited to, the installation of storm water, electrical, IT and water utility lines; rough grading and compaction of on-site stored soils, pavilion structures (pavilion, entry gates and overlook structure as alternates), hardscape, concrete seat wall abutments, segmental retaining walls, installation of a water feature to include spray nozzles, controls and water feature systems, installation of playground equipment provided by owner, playground surfacing, amending of on-site soils and installation of planting soils, plantings and turf and meadows, irrigation system (providing and installation of a water recirculation and storage system for irrigation as alternate). The project is generally located east of the intersection of Brazeau Ave. and East Pendelton Ave. The City intends to award a contract on or about the week of July 18, 2022. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
