PURPOSE: The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to establish a one (1) year time and materials contract with two (2) qualified Class A or Class B firms, as a Primary and Alternate, to provide on-call, as needed general contracting services to various locations in the counties of Alleghany, Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge, and Rockingham Counties of the Staunton District of the Virginia Department of Transportation, in accordance with the specifications contained herein. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The initial period of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period with the effective date to be determined at the time of award (renewable). QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS INVITATION FOR BID: Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Mrs. Rebecca S. Coburn at Rebecca.Coburn@VDOT.Virginia.gov Contract.Officer@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions by 5:00 PM on June 23, 2022.
