PURPOSE: The Virginia Department of Transportation, herein referred to as "VDOT", an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia is soliciting bids from qualified Virginia Licensed Class A Contractors with the Highway Heavy Specialty to perform asphalt patching operations in various locations on Interstate 81 in Rockingham, Shenandoah and Frederick counties, and on Interstate 66 in Warren County for the Virginia Department of Transportation, Staunton District in accordance with the specifications contained herein. Awards will be made on a Lot Total basis. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The period of the contract shall be for a six (6) month period with the effective date to be determined at the time of award (non-renewable). QUESTIONS CONCERNING THIS INVITATION FOR BID: Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Pamela Turner at Pamela.Turner@VDOT.Virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM May 5, 2022.
