The main elements/components of the project includes the design and construction of a flood control bypass spillway on the Oyster Creek bank and the receiving channel and detention facility upstream of Bullhead Bayou to control overflow and reduce flooding impacts to the surrounding area. The main elements of the project are: Diversion channel from Oyster Creek to Bullhead Bayou Wet detention pond with a static water surface elevation at 63.13-ft and a bottom elevation at 57.5-ft Drainage channel along west side of Tract 2 property to intercept offsite flow Channel improvements through US-90A and UPRR bridges Weir diversion structure on diversion channel at Oyster Creek Elevated berm on west side of airport property just north of the Training Site A blockage for the ditch on the northwest side of the airport runway to protect the airport in the Brazos 100-year event Channel improvements on Bullhead Bayou that taper down to the existing channel at Easton Avenue and University Boulevard, preventing the need for any additional widening of these bridge structures Berm along Bullhead Bayou south of US-90A to protect property from Brazos 100- year event Modifications to existing drop structure at Bullhead Bayou and Ditch H Removal of existing drop structure on Bullhead Bayou upstream of Easton Avenue
