Renovation of a library in Yonkers, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Grinton I. Will Library (Will Library) is a 72,000 square foot building that opened in November 1962. Its cooling system is over 30 years old and the chiller has failed multiple times. It is presently undergoing repairs, however in the event repair is not successful or it fails again, Yonkers Public Library (YPL) is requesting proposals (RFP) to rent and install temporary HVAC/cooling services at the Will Library through at least Friday, September 16. Rental, installation and maintenance of temporary air-cooled chiller and other required equipment to adequately replace a York Chiller Emergency chilled water taps for the temporary chiller Power solution or generator for temporary chiller, if necessary(building is 220V) The awarded vendor will only be contracted in the event that the original chiller fails again.
