Work Location: The Blakes Farm Road Drainage Project is located off State Route 754 (Ramey Flats Rd) on Blakes Farm Road, northeast of the Town of Clintwood, in Dickenson County, Virginia. GPS coordinates for the approximate project location center are 37 12 18.18 N Description: The Scope of Work for the Blakes Farm Road Drainage Project shall consist of mobilization of the contractor's workforce and equipment, construction site preparation, upgrade and/or construction of access roads, clearing and grubbing of vegetation, installation of erosion and sediment controls, installation of temporary drainage controls, closure of mine portals with installation of bat gates, installation of a culvert, excavation of material from a "slip" area, cleanout of an existing sump, construction of a grass lined ditch, repair work to a Riprap ditch, revegetation, and clean up and repair of damage to the project site from construction activity. ** Please note, The Virginia Department of Energy offices in Big Stone Gap, Virginia are open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
