The general scope of work includes but is not limited to the removal & disposal of existing batting cage, turf, net and concrete slab; installation of new lime rock base and concrete slab, 1. Jugs Sports Cage 10 (55'x12'x12') and #60 Twisted knotted black polyethylene and .accessories, and STW42/Batters Up 2 batting cage turf surface, sidewalks and new fence line (6ga galvanized chain link with top and bottom rail(6ft H x15ft L)). Quotes (informal bids) shall be accepted from qualified and experienced contractors to furnish all materials, labor, supervision, mobilization, machinery, supplies, tools, worksite safety measures for replacing the existing Vista Park batting cage. Along with the bid quotes, all proposers shall provide the necessary documentation to demonstrate that they meet the following qualifications: 1. Bidders shall have a minimum five years of experience in the installation of work of a similar scope as those services desired by the CITY under this RFIQ. 2. Bidders shall have been incorporated and in continuous operation for a minimum of the past five years from the date that the bid is issued. 3. Bidders shall be fully licensed contractors with all required State and/or Local government licenses--copies of the licenses shall be provided. 4. Proposers shall list a minimum of three projects of a similar magnitude, scope, value and trade as this project. The CITY reserves the right to: 1. Award all or a portion of the services as determined to be in the best interest of the CITY. 2. Award to one or more than one proposer as determined to be in the best interest of the CITY. 3. Reject any or all submittals if found not to be in the best interest of the CITY.
