Nova Stewart The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to obtain information about consulting firms interested in providing professional Testing and Construction Administration and Observation services for the City of Rock Hill. The professional services may include, but not be limited to one or more of the following: TestingandConstruction Administration and Observation fortheconstructionofwatermains,sewer mains,stormwater and drainage, fill placement, roads,site plans, pedestrian amenities, parking areas, pavement markings, retaining walls, footers for mast arms/pedestrian lighting, landscaping, curb installation, and sidewalk or trails that will be Cityowned. The scope of services will include tasks necessary to complete the project, including materials testing, observation and reporting of construction conformance to approved plans and specifications, construction administration and observation, etc. Geotechnical investigation may be required for the construction of this project. All work in relation to the proposal submitted by qualified Firms will be done at the contract rates for time and materials not to exceed the total contract allowance without prior, written approval. The City of Rock Hill, SC is requesting qualifications from interested and qualified consulting firms to provide Testing and Construction Administration and Observation Services including, but not limited to geotechnical, construction materials testing, and civil construction administration for the Public Infrastructure for multiple projects within the City. Potentially qualified firms must demonstrate their corporate and individual staff experience in construction administration and observation and testing of the proposed types of Civil Infrastructure within this area and in an urban environment. The firm should be well-versed in the permitting requirements of the City of Rock Hill, SCDOT, SCDHEC, and South Carolina.
