Interested bidders must obtain their own set of documents from The EADS Group, Inc. to be eligible to bid the project. The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Somerset (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following projects: Contract No. 2021-W-03 Electrical The Contracts include, but are not limited to, the following Work respectively: Contract 2021-W-03 Electrical: Provide all labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of four (4) standby generators, concrete foundations, two (2) solar panel arrays with battery storage; telemetry and SCADA modifications and equipment; wiring, conduits, system testing, appurtenances, and restoration. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: The EADS Group, Inc., 450 Aberdeen Drive, Somerset, PA 15501. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents for each contract at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 A.M. 5:00 P.M by appointment only. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the Issuing Office to be eligible to bid. All Contracts are presented in a single set of Contract Drawings and a single Project Manual. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder s date of receipt. Electronic versions of the Bidding Documents are available for the non-refundable fee of $30.00 (fee includes 6% Pennsylvania sales tax). To access the electronic version, the Bidder must have a valid email address and internet connection. Upon confirmation of payment, a website link and access credentials will be emailed to the Bidder to access the Bidding Documents.
