Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Irwin, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of August 17,2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Bid Result. Base bid 1 Ramsey Garage & Excavating $100,500.00 Base bid 2 Ramsey Garage & Excavating $154,795.00 The work for Contract 2/2022 (Re-bid) will consist of the Contractor milling approximately 2,300 s.y. 2- 1/2 " depth milling of a 7 ft wide existing walking track. The trail resurfacing will include binder and wearing course material. Contractor will also be responsible for storm drainage improvements and site restoration. This project is funded in whole or part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Labor Compliance is mandatory. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of Irwin Borough. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with Borough of Irwin. Irwin Borough Manager and Council reserves the right to reject any of all bids or to waive any informality in bids received.
