Site work for a water / sewer project in Port St Lucie, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The intent of the City is to procure the services of one (1) qualified State of Florida Licensed General Contractor and/or an Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor related to the replacement of the eleven (11) air release valves throughout the City of Port St. Lucie. The Contract period for this work is forty five (45) calendar days. The purpose of this Scope of Work includes the removal of the existing below ground automatic air and vacuum valves (ARV) for wastewater force mains. See Attachment A for the complete scope of work. There will be grant reporting requirements, such as certified weekly payroll reports from the prime Contractor and all subcontractors including the number of jobs created and the number of jobs retained by the project for both the Contractor and all subcontractors, which the successful Bidder will have to satisfy. The Contractor is required to pay wages per the Davis Bacon Wage Decision FL20220190 (see the wage decision in the Sample Contract). The exact nature and extent of the reporting requirements are unknown at this time. When the reporting requirements are known, the Contractor will be required to provide the information as directed.
