It is the intent of the City of Port St. Lucie to obtain bids from qualified firms to establish fixed pricing for delivery and unloading of Anhydrous Ammonia on an as-needed basis. Anhydrous Ammonia is needed for the City's Chloramine Disinfection Process which keeps the water quality compliant with US EPA/FDEP requirements. The City estimates the annual expenditure for this item will be $120,000.00. This item will be delivered by a Tanker to two (2) of the City's Water Treatment Plants (JEA and Prineville). Locations are as follows: JEA 7599 NW LTC Parkway Port St. Lucie, FL 34986 Prineville 900 SE Ogden Lane Port St. Lucie, FL 34986 The Contract period is a two (2) year term with an option to renew for two (2) additional two (2) year terms. Economic price adjustments upward or downward may be considered at the time of renewal; adjustments must be agreed upon by both parties. The City of Port St. Lucie reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities, to negotiate with any qualified Proposers, and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as it may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City.
