Pre-Qualification: Yes The work of this project consists of renovations to the 1st Floor and Lower Level areas of the La Crosse Police Department located within the City Hall building. The construction work is to be performed in 2 separate phases. Construction work includes but is not limited to the following: selective demolition; cast-in-place concrete; unit masonry; metal fabrications; miscellaneous rough carpentry; architectural woodwork; solid surfacing; traffic coating; thermal insulation; membrane air barriers; metal wall panels; sheet metal flashing and trim; firestopping and joint sealants; expansion control systems; hollow metal doors and frames; wood doors; door hardware; mirrors and glazing; metal wall framing; gypsum board; tiling; resilient flooring and base; acoustical panel ceilings and grid; painting and high-performance coatings; toilet partitions; corner guards; bullet resistant panels; toilet and bath accessories; fire protection specialties; roller window shades; plumbing; mechanical; electrical; and data/communications work. The City is contracting directly with an asbestos abatement contractor to perform the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials disturbed or uncovered as part of the project work. Asbestos abatement work will be ongoing simultaneously with work under this contract. The General Contractor is required to interface and coordinate with work being done by the asbestos abatement contractor and any other work being performed by the City. Construction administration services will be provided by River Architects.
