Grand County Road & Bridge is requesting cost proposals from contractors to provide snow removal operations on Grand County Roads for the 2022-2023 winter season. Multiple contractors may be selected, roads / routes for each contractor will be determined based on the contractor's shop location, and the level of service to be provided. The contractor shall plow designated roads / routes when three inches (3") or more have accumulated at the contractor's shop location, unless otherwise directed by the Grand County Road and Bridge Superintendent based upon road conditions. The contractor(s) will plow from October 1st - April 30th. The successful contractor(s) will be required to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with the Grand County Board of County Commissioners, sample included as Exhibit A. The Agreement shall be for a period beginning approximately October 1, 2022 and ending approximately April 30, 2023. Grand County reserves the right to reject or accept any and all proposals or cancel this Request for Proposals at any time without prior notice. Grand County reserves the right to request clarification of information submitted and to request additional information for any proposal submitted.
