Elevator inspection, maintenance and repair of 3 hydraulic passenger elevators at 2 Grand County buildings. Contractor is to provide preventative maintenance, maintenance, repair and testing services for two elevators located in the Judicial Center and one elevator located in the Administration Building. All inspections and testing to be performed during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Emergency service calls shall be responded to the same day the call is received. Nonemergency service calls shall be responded to within 24 hours of the day the call is received. Contractor is expected to provide on-call emergency services 24 hours per day/7 days per week. Contractor will be required to perform all testing and inspection services as required per law and to provide records of such results to customer. Contractor shall provide repair labor and parts pricing with proposal. Contractor shall provide copies of inspection, maintenance, and repair records to customer. All services shall be coordinated with Grand County prior to arrival to ensure the least disruption to regular business operations. Admin Elevator Location: Grand County Administration Building, 308 Byers Avenue, Hot Sulphur Springs, CO 80451 Manufacturer: Dover Capacity: 2500 pounds Number of stops: 2 Number of doors: 1 Total Rise: 11 feet 4 inches Judicial Elevator 1 Location: Grand County Judicial Center, 307 Moffat Avenue, Hot Sulphur Springs, CO 80451 Manufacturer: Thyssenkrupp Capacity: 2100 pounds Number of stops: 3 Number of doors: 2 Total Rise: 28 feet Judicial Elevator 2 Location: Grand County Judicial Center, 307 Moffat Avenue, Hot Sulphur Springs, CO 80451 Manufacturer: Thyssenkrupp Capacity: 2100 pounds Number of stops: 3 Number of doors: 1 Total Rise: 27 feet 11 inches Successful Contractor shall enter into a Services Contract with the Grand County Board of County Commissioners by October 1, 2024. Contract term shall be for five (5) years beginning November 1, 2024, and subject to annual appropriations. If Grand County and the Contractor cannot successfully negotiate terms and execute a contract, Grand County reserves the right to negotiate and award the contract to the next most qualified contractor. Grand County reserves the right to cancel this request for proposals at any time without prior notice Grand County reserves the right to request clarification of information submitted and to request additional information for any proposal Grand County seeks to contract for the best value, therefore the low proposal may not be the awarded proposal.
