Resurfacing will consist of a 2" overlay, full roadway and shoulder width along with full depth reclamation (shoulder), shoulder widening, striping and signing. Remove and replace Type 3 guardrail and end sections. New Type 9 barrier. Drainage slope repair. Extend existing culverts and add inlets. This project is located in Region 3 in Grand County. The Contractor shall organize the work such that there will be no hazards within the Clear Zone at the completion of each day's work. Employee vehicle parking is prohibited where it conflicts with safety, access, or flow of traffic. No employee parking will be allowed within the clear zone. The Contractor and the Engineer, prior to starting work, shall locate parking areas to be approved by the Engineer. Any signs damaged due to the Contractor's operations shall be replaced in-kind or repaired by the Contractor at no expense to the project. Sufficient Traffic Control Devices are included in the plans to cover expected construction activities. Should the Contractor elect to utilize additional devices to enhance the operation, the additional devices will not be paid for but shall be provided at the Contractor's expense, unless otherwise approved for payment by the Engineer. At least one week prior to starting construction, the Contractor shall notify the Town of Granby Public Works, and Grand County Engineer (depending on location of work) of the date the Contractor intends to start construction.
