CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 6/28/2022 4:00 PM The project generally consists of Furnishing & installing approximately 2,000 Lineal Feet of Storm Sewer Pipe (varying sizes 18" to 42"); grading a stormwater Basin; Furnishing & Installing various Stormwater Structures & appurtenances; and associated items. Each PROPOSAL shall be submitted with a Proposal Security (Bid Bond) in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the PROPOSAL. All PROPOSALS shall be effective for 60 calendar days after the bid opening, and the work shall commence on August 1, 2022 and be substantially complete by October 15, 2022. A Performance & Maintenance Bond shall be required (equal to the contract price). Qualified Minority and Women Owned Businesses (MBE/WBE) are encouraged to respond to the Invitation to Bid. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates shall be used for this project. The Township of Caernarvon reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all PROPOSALS, and/or delete portions thereof, and/or to waive any omissions and errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any Bid, at its sole discretion, in order to best serve the interest of the Township.
