Tenders for the project identified above, addressed to the attention of the contracting officer, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, will be received, by email only, until the date and time indicated below, at following address: aafc.escprocurement-csealimentation.aac@agr.gc.ca Description of work: Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is seeking a consulting firm to perform a wastewater audit, a water systems study and a cross-connection control assessment at eight of the research and development (CRD) of AAFC in Quebec. The study will be conducted to determine if the facilities comply with local municipal bylaws, applicable federal laws and regulations, and Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME) recommendations. In addition, cross-connection control and water supply system reviews must comply with relevant provincial and federal guidelines and regulations, such as the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality (GCDWQ),Canada Labor Code and CSA-B64.10-17 standard. To do this, a comprehensive inspection and assessment of the drinking water supply and sewerage networks is necessary. The recommended actions will be used to develop a strategy to address identified deficiencies using a risk-based approach. In addition to looking at drinking water and sewage systems, AAFC wants to explore opportunities for water conservation at its facilities.
