As of July 14, 2022, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Alley Paving - Contract 3 - The project includes: Mill 8" depth of existing alley pavement material. Remove milled material and and haul off-site to locations within an approximate 3-mile radius of project area as specified by Township. Furnish and place 4" compacted depth of 2A stone, 2.5" compacted depth 19mm binder course, and 1.5" compacted depth 9.5mm wearing course overlay along all alleys to match existing grade. Meet incidental requirements as specified in PennDOT Pub. 408, as amended, and contract special provisions (Attachment 1-A). CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 7/1/2022 10:00 AM For Contract 3, bidders are advised that prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply and that minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid accordingly. Jackson Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
