Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project includes, but is not limited to, demolition and removal of an existing 4' x 3'-6" (+/-) reinforced concrete box culvert with concrete headwalls; and replacement with a 66" x 51" polymer coated corrugated metal pipe arch culvert, including corrugated aluminum headwalls. The scope of work also includes guide rail replacement, pavement restoration, scour protection, stream bypass assembly, erosion and sediment pollution controls and other associated work. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Jackson Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion. Questions shall be submitted via the "Questions" online. Prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply for bids in excess of $100,000 Requests for clarification are due Monday, January 27, 2020 10:00:00 AM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)].
