Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Roads, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. The project consists of installing subsurface drainage in the existing eastem and western ditch, running North to South along the edge of the property. It also includes the addition of a sidewalk along the North side of Nelson Lane as sown on the construction drawings. Construction includes, but is not limited to, drainage systems, sidewalks, removal of existing residential construction access and other related items not mentioned here but required by the Plans and Specifications. Each Bidder must deposit bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. The project is supported by federal Community Development Block Grant funds, and includes requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act; Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (Low Income Resident Participation); Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (Non-Discrimination); Section 503 (Non-Discrimination Against Employees with Disabilities) and Section 504 (N on-Discrimination against Individuals with Disabilities) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; Executive Order 1 1246 (contractors and subcontractors nondiscrimination); and all applicable laws and regulations of the federal govemment and the State of Louisiana.
