Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Norton Shores, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,500-square-foot religious / funeral development; for site work for a religious / funeral development; and water / sewer project.
**As of September 14 2022, project was awarded to Muskegon Quality Builders, MI for $850,133.66. The construction takes place on summer of 2022 and completion of the building is on June 23, 2023. The City of Norton Shores is seeking sealed bids for the Ellis Road Cemetery Phase 1 Building and Site Work project. The work will include approximately one (1) acre of site grading, roadway construction, restoration, irrigation system, sanitary lateral, 50 X 50 building construction and all related work. Construction shall be per the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction or as modified herein. The Contractor may begin the work once a Notice to Proceed has been issued. All work with the exception of the building must be complete by October 31, 2022. The final completion date including the building shall be June 30, 2023. A certified check, bank draft, or bid bond in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required with each bid. The City will award the project in a manner determined to be in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in the best interest of the City.
