Amendment 0001 provides: Updated Wage Determination RI20220001 dated 24 Jun 2022. Questions and Answers #1 through #3. Question #1: Specification Section 23 05 93, Paragraph 1.5.4 Subcontractor Special Requirements indicates: "Perform all work in this section in accordance with the paragraph SUBCONTRACTOR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS in Section 01 30 00 ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS, stating that all contract requirements of this section must be accomplished directly by a first tier subcontractor. No work may be performed by a second tier subcontractor." Answer #1: The Government strikes Paragraph 1.5.4 Subcontractor Special Requirements in its entirety. Contractor may consider struck Paragraph as "Not used," with no renumbering of remaining paragraphs. Question #2: Could Government provide record drawings to assist Contractor in determining method for water isolation Answer #2: Regret that Government is not able to provide accurate record or as-built drawings for existing system. Offeror should propose its technical approach--and alternate approaches if appropriate--for tying into building's existing hot water and chilled water system. Question #3: Is there existing glycol Answer #3: There is no glycol in the system. Building 1319 is chilled and hot water only. (End of Questions and Answers ... End of Amendment 0001) Remove existing fan coil unit and related appurtenances. Provide duct connection to provide acoustically isolated chamber with fresh air. Installation of two new fan coil units, ducting, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and controls, and testing and balancing to provide complete operational heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Per FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 236220. The Small Business Size Standard is $39,500,000.00. Product Service Code is Z2AZ, Repair or alteration of other administrative facilities and service buildings. An organized site visit will be conducted 9:30 AM Thursday 23 Jun 2022. Offerors are responsible for monitoring information posted at this website. Offerors must be currently registered in SAM during pre-award and post-award life cycle of the contract. Plans and draft specifications are attached. Drawing set is controlled unclassified information (CUI) and may be requested via controlled access in SAM.gov.
