Renovation of an educational facility in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Klamath Falls City Schools will accept sealed bids for the remodel of an upstairs restroom and addition of a downstairs restroom at Conger Elementary School. The scope of work includes combining two restrooms upstairs into one ADA compliant restroom, with a refresh of finishes and then adding a new ADA compliant restroom downstairs. While there are a few Owner Furnished and Owner Installed elements (District standard restroom accessories), KCFS is not currently planning to participate in any of the construction work and the entire scope shown within the plans shall be performed by the awarded contractor. The project will be a public improvement project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, Prevailing Wage Rates. The work contemplated consists of the following two scope areas: Minor demolition of two existing restrooms upstairs to combine them into one single ADA restroom with new finishes and separating them from an adjacent office with a wall/hall. In the downstairs area, removing an old science lab sink and counter, constructing a plumbing and furring wall, and installing a new restroom. The owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the contract for sixty (60) days and may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements on these solicitation documents and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner, that it is in the public interest to do so.
