Replacement of 1,260 9 diameter membrane disc fine bubble diffusers located within two sequencing batch reactors and two sludge holding tanks along with replacing associated air piping in the sequencing batch reactors and sludge holding tanks. Additional work including but is not limited to: tank cleaning, including removal and disposal of tank contents, decanter actuator replacement, installation of insulation on sludge discharge piping, valve replacement, and miscellaneous improvements within the tanks as specified. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Midway Sewerage Authority, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statues of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinance. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract within ninety (90) days from the date bids were opened. The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids submitted or any part thereof or item therein. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
