Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Bolton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Project Description: The Work includes replacement of the sanitary sewer line under the floor of the library, extension of the existing sewer line outside of the building, associated plumbing and restoration of library including carpet and tile repair/replacement. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check, payable to the Town of Bolton, or Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. A Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with corporate surety approved by the Town, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. The general bid must include a valid Certificate of Eligibility and an Update Statement from the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of General Building Construction. The project is subject to Minimum Wage rates as determined by the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of Labor Standards. The project must be completed within 120 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $100 per day may be applicable if work is not completed in this timeframe. The Town of Bolton Town Administrator is the awarding authority. Bidder Questions are due February 6, 2024 by 5:00PM. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the best interest of the Town.
