Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The scope of work includes the cleaning, television inspection, smoke testing, and preparation of pertinent inspection reports for all inspection as outlined in the contract documents. The work consists of smoke testing, sewer line cleaning, and closed-circuit televising (CCTV) inspection of approximately 13,500 linear feet of 8" diameter of sanitary sewer. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Authority. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Patterson Township Municipal Authority to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. The Authority shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
