Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to July 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: 1023-00-03: Perpetuation project to resurface 7.0 miles on IH 94, Towns of Northfield and Garfield, Jackson County from the West County Line to STH 121. Work includes replacing wings on box culvert structures C-27-20,21,14,15, and resurfacing ramps on 16 and STH 121 north ramps. 1024-02-01: Perpetuation project to resurface 6.81 miles on IH 94, Towns of Northfield, Curran, and Hixton and Village of Hixton, Jackson County from STH 121 to STH 95. Work includes replacing wings on box culvert structures C-27-17,23,and 24 and resurfacing ramps on STH 121 south ramps and portions of STH 95. Additional work on both projects includes concrete pavement repair, adjusting guardrail, replacing guardrail, replacing the beam bullnose systems, culvert work, type 1 sign replacements, and pavement marking. Work will be done under traffic utilizing single lane closures during off-peak traffic time periods Anticipated Construction Cost: $17,000,000-$19,999,999 The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Advertised Fixed Fee % : 7.25 Fixed Fee Notification : The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
