Proposers Proposals shall comply with state mandated Prevailing wage guidelines, equal Opportunity employment Practices and Safety and Health Guidelines The Town of Trumbull reserves the right to waive and/or reject any and all proposals or any part thereof, waive the information in the proposal process, and reject any unqualified proposals, or accept any proposal or part thereof, deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Trumbull. The contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment required to perform work of Town Wide Stormwater Management at the locations described in the bid documents, plans and specifications and as directed by the Town Engineer or his designee. In all cases, where the word "Install" is used, it shall mean the contractor is responsible for furnishing, constructing and installation of the item, including all labor, equipment and materials incidental thereto. This work is further described as follows: Infiltrator System Items: The contractor shall construct infiltration systems at the locations as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town Engineer or assigned representative. Hydrodynamic Separator: The contractor shall construct the hydrodynamic separator systems at the locations as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town Engineer or assigned representative. Outlet Control Structure: The contractor shall construct the outlet control structure systems at the locations as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town Engineer or assigned representative. Catch Basin: The contractor shall construct catch basins at the locations as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town Engineer or assigned representative. The top will be set on a minimum of 2 brick courses. Connections to Existing Catch Basins or Manholes: In locations where the catch basin or manhole is not being replaced, the contractor shall make the connection of the under drain and/or storm line to the receiving structure. The contractor will be paid for one connection to the structure regardless of the number of pipes entering. Storm Manholes Item: The contractor shall remove and replace or install storm manholes at the locations as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town Engineer or assigned representative. The contractor will remove and replace the base, risers section, connect existing or new storm pipes as required. PVC Storm Drains: The contractor shall install storm drainage pipe at the locations as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town Engineer or assigned representative. Topsoil and Turf Establishment: The contractor shall install topsoil and establish turf at the locations and per the detail as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town Engineer or assigned representative. Sediment and Erosion Controls: The contractor shall install and maintain sediment and erosion controls at the locations and per the details as shown on the plans or as directed by the Town Engineer or assigned representative. Controls shall be maintained in accordance with the 2002 Connecticut Sediment and Erosion Control Guidelines.
