Site work for a water / sewer project in Kingston, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the Dry-Docking and 5 year Recertification of the Frontenac Howe Island Ferry to meet Transport Canada regulations. It also includes converting the cable propulsion system aboard the Frontenac Howe Islander ferry from a hydraulically powered traction winch system to a hydraulically powered bullwheel system and for installing two new generator sets aboard the vessel. The vessel described in this specification is a cable-propelled ferry, intended to carry vehicles and passengers between the main land and Howe Island.
