The Town of Weathersfield is requesting sealed bids for projects within the 2022/2023 paving seasons which may include paving overlay course. Backing up shoulders with shoulder gravel. This project is to shim all depths greater than 1/2 " than pave .69 miles of the project areas with 1.5-inch top course of Type III 75 Blow Marshall Bituminous Concrete Pavement. Pave side road aprons to 2' minimum length, backup drives, shoulders, and mailbox pullouts with shoulder gravel. The provisions of the most recent version of the State of Vermont STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION to include all supplemental provisions and attachments, all contract documents specified, the most current version of MUTCD, and any other Federal, State, or Municipal applicable standards, policies and procedures shall apply to this contract. This project is to pave entire project with 1.5-inch top course of Type III 75 Blow Marshall Bituminous Concrete Pavement Apply emulsion before paving. Pave driveway and side road aprons to 2' length. Cold planning beginning and end project tapers (10' length from butt joint) cold planning a depth of 1.5" for estimated 1,380' over causeway, cold planning side road aprons as needed. Backup drives & shoulders, and mailbox pullouts with shoulder gravel (NOTE: include separate line for shoulder work.) Provide traffic control.
