Facility Renovations - Lone Oak Middle School Renovation to Become Lone Oak Intermediate School The project involves the renovation of the former Lone Oak Middle School to house the relocated Lone Oak Intermediate School. The renovation project involves removal of two existing campus buildings, site canopies, site development for parking and playgrounds, perimeter fencing, interior renovations and modifications, finishes, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work. Proposed renovations are intended to provide accessibility compliance and modifications for younger school age students. Alternate pricing is requested for Building Automation Controls, Chemical Treatment, Membrane Roofing Replacement, Gymnasium Modifications, and Fire Alarm Panel Re-use. The Project Involves All Labor, Materials, Equipment, Tools and Services Necessary to Complete Facility Renovations of the Former Lone Oak Middle School to Become Lone Oak Intermediate School as Described in the Bidding Documents in a Lump Sum Contract. A Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder or Certified Bank Cashier's Check in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. No Other Forms of Security Will Be Accepted. Failure to Submit a Bid Bond or Certified Bank Cashier's Check Will Result in Disqualification of the Bid. The Mccracken County Board of Education Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids in Accordance With the Model Procurment Code and the Project Specifications 1. Bidder will furnish Bid Bond for 5% of bid. 2. Bid will be valid for 45 days after bid date. 3. Successful bidders will furnish and pay for a Performance and Payment Bonds. 4. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids.
