**As of August 22,2022, project was awarded, start date is August of 2022 and days to reach substantial completion: Per contract document- 60 calendar days.** The work for which bids are to be received consists of: The labor, time and material for the extension of the existing 12" water main located on Strueh Hendricks Road east to the intersection of Strueh Hendricks Road and Broadway Avenue. The project includes the installation of a combination of approximately 1,320 linear feet of 12" PVC C-900 and 12" PVC C-900 RJ pipe, air relief assembly, two fire hydrant assemblies, and associated fittings, valves, and connections. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the installation method chosen. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals.
