The Board of Supervisors of East Nottingham Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania is seeking sealed bids for the following: Replace failing Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) with ADS N-12 HDPE Pipe (Watertight) and perform complete restoration of the associated disturbance. The total project includes 17 separate runs of pipe totaling approximately 1,823 linear feet. Bidders may bid on individual runs of pipe, multiple separate runs of pipe or the entire project. The contract may be awarded at that meeting or at a subsequent meeting which shall be announced. Bids received after the above referenced time and date will not be considered. Bids will not be accepted electronically. Bids shall be in sealed envelopes with the notation Bid to Replace Failing Corrugated Metal Pipe and a further notation of either entire project, all 17 runs or identify the numbers of separate runs bid upon. Contractors are responsible and required to become familiar with the conditions of the site Bid security shall accompany each bid submitted in the form of either a certified check, bank cashiers check or bid bond in the amount equal to 10% of the base bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds issued by a security company satisfactory to the Township. All bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 90 days after the actual date of the opening. East Nottingham Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in or to reject any and all bids or parts thereof.
