Renovation of a municipal facility in Frankfort, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking full professional design services for the Finance & Administration Cabinet various administrative departments located in the Transportation Cabinet Office Building 5th Floor. Design services for this project include coordination with Owner Provided Furniture/Wall Vender and stakeholders to determine a final layout of offices. Workstations and moveable walls will be provided by an Owner provided Furniture/Wall Vender under separate Master Agreement with the Finance Cabinet. The project design involves architectural/interiors, mechanical, electrical, exit signage, fire protection, plumbing changes as required to accommodate new office area layout of spaces. After design phase, the design team shall provide construction documents for bidding and construction administration during construction/closeout. The design team will continue coordination and oversight throughout all phases of work with Owner provided Furniture/Wall Vender and General Contractor. The 5th floor of the TCOB is currently fully occupied, requiring the work to be phased. The work includes phasing for the construction to occur for 10 Departments currently located on the floor.
