The deadline to ask questions is 7/20/2022 5:00 PM CDT 1. Minority participation goal is 45%. 2. Minority Business Enterprise participation goal is 15%. The Alameda & Gollihar Elevated Storage Tanks (EST) Rehabilitation includes the complete exterior and interior coating rehabilitation of the Alameda & Gollihar elevated storage tanks. The scope of work also includes providing complete containment of the tanks for the duration of work for this project. The Alameda & Gollihar ESTs will NOT be taken out of service at the same time for construction. The work will be sequenced with one tank out of service until substantial completion is reached. The completed EST will be turned over to the City and filled prior to beginning work on the next EST. Base Bid A - Alameda Elevated Storage Tank o Abrasive blast, clean, prime and coat the Exterior of the 1,000,000-gallon multi-leg EST including all appendages, ladders, vents, hatches, railings, tank piping, valves, etc., as indicated on the drawings and specifications. o Abrasive blast, clean, prime, stripe coat and coat the Interior of the EST including all appendages, ladders, vents, hatches, weir boxes, etc., as indicated on the drawings and specifications. o Provide Containment, Dehumidification, and Dust Collection during surface preparation and coating. o Install vents and hatches as indicated on the drawings and specifications. o Perform Structural Tower Bracing and Support Member Replacement/Repairs, as indicated on the drawings and specifications. o Perform General Welding and Corrosion Related Repairs and Incidental Repairs/Modifications. o Spot blast for inspection and identification of repairs as indicated on the drawings and specifications. o Provide Seam Sealing and Epoxy Surfacing. o Video Tape the project site before the start of construction. It is the responsibility of the Contractor bidding the project to ensure the accuracy of the reproduction of all Bid Documents and Construction Drawings. This includes, but is not limited to, proper scaling, paper width and length, etc. Failure to do so may result in errors in the Unit Bid Quantities and or Bids Amounts. Bidders are advised to refer to Request for Bids Section 5 of the bidding documents for a list of required bid submittals. Failure to submit or upload all required documents may result in an irregular or non-responsive bid submittal.
