The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Demolish and dispose of existing humidifiers h-1, h-2, existing natural gas piping down to boiler room, natural gas vent, intake and exhaust vents, humidity sensors, flow switches, humidity manifold in ahu-1, and steam distribution wand in ductwork from ahu-2. .2 Reuse existing steam lines, water lines, and drains. .3 Fill in holes left from removing combustion air intakes and vents. .4 Supply and install two new electric humidifiers in place of old units. connect to existing steam supply lines, and drain lines. .5 Replace existing flow switches and high limit duct humidistats in supply ductwork of ahu-1 and ahu-2 with new switches. .6 Install manufacturers short absorption manifold in ahu-1 in place of hm-1. install steam distribution wand in place of hm-2. supply and install new condensate drain line from distribution wand back to new h-2. .7 If new humidifiers are wall mounted units create a stand out of unistrut to support them. see humidifier stand detail. .8 Supply and install all additional piping required to connect humidifier to existing steam supply, domestic water supply, and drains for proper operation. .9 Integrate new humidifiers with existing sensors and building controls. coordinate with controls vendor advanced energy management ltd. .10 Supply and install new matching 200a 3 p breaker in panel 'ph'. .11 Supply and install new panel 'm1' in penthouse. see plan view penthouse - new. .12 Supply and install new 4c#250 mcm plus bond in 78mm emt from the new 200a 3p breaker in panel 'ph' to the new panel ''. route the conduit from electrical room into boiler room and up through floor into penthouse (adjacent to existing floor/conduit penetrations along wall near mcc), then on existing overhead strut support system to the new panel location. conduit run approximately 26 m (85 ft). .13 Supply and install new 60a non-fused disconnect for humidifier 1. .14 Supply and install new 100a non-fused disconnect for humidifier 2. .15 Supply and install new 4c#6 rw90 plus bond in 27mm emt from a 50a 3p breaker in panel 'm1' to the new 60a disconnect switch and from the new disconnect switch to the humdifier no.1. the final connection to the humdifier to be rw90 in liquid tight flex. .16 Supply and install new 4c#4 rw90 plus bond in 35mm emt from a 70a 3p breaker in panel 'm1' to the new 100a disconnect switch and from the new disconnect switch to humdifier no.2. the final connection to the humdifier to be rw90 in liquid tight flex. .17 Disconnect and remove electrical associated with existing humidifiers (h-1 and h-2). to include both 30 a disconnect switches, wire and conduit back to panel 'pd'. 15 a, 1p breakers (ccts 22 and 24) to remain as 'spare'.
