This Request for Proposal is to replace the generator at the Lower Church Street Pump Station. The generator will provide power to operate a section of our wastewater system. Generator: One (1) Generac SD030 Diesel Generator, 2.2 Liter I4 Turbocharged Diesel Engine, 1800 RPM, 120/208 Volt Three Phase, H100 Digital Controls, 1500W 120VAC Block Heater, 12 Volt Starting Batteries, 10 A Battery Charger, 125 Amp Main Line Circuit Breaker, Sound Attenuated Enclosure, Remote Mounted Emergency Stop, 132 Gallon Double Wall Base Tank (47 Hour Run Time), Standard 2- year limited warranty, with one year maintenance agreement. Transfer Switch: One (1) Generac 200 AMP TX Automatic Transfer Switch, rated 200 amps, three pole construction, 120/208 Volt Three Phase, NEMA 3R Enclosure. Installation: All labor and material necessary to supply and install the equipment outlined above, plus disconnection and removal of existing generator, setting of new generator and transfer switch, start-up of new generator. Also includes temporary hookup and one day usage of a portable generator to keep pump stationed powered while generator is being replaced. Price must include: Trade in amount for existing generator, delivery to job site, startup test and warranty initiation, and start of one year preventative maintenance agreement. Other: The Town of Bethel Selectboard reserves the right to reject any and all bids as a result of this solicitation, to negotiate separately with any qualified source, to waive any formality and any technicalities or to cancel this RFP in part or in its entirety, if it in the best interest of the Town. This solicitation in no way obligates the Town to award a contract. The selected contractor must submit proof of insurance and completed W-9, once proposal is awarded. The Town of Bethel understands they will need to submit a deposit when the unit is ordered.
