Renovation of a fire / police facility in Wasilla, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is requesting bids from qualified contractors to perform exterior painting to two (2) fire station facilities. This solicitation will result in two (2) separate contracts, see Bid Form. Schedule A - Station 6-3: Refinish the stucco at Station 6-3. The stucco has not been painted before and the original red color has faded. The MSB wants the stucco surfaces to be properly prepped and be painted with a colored coating appropriated for a stucco surface. Station 6-3 is located at: 11021 Horizon Drive, Wasilla, AK 99654. See Scope of Work for additional details. Schedule B - Station 6-5: Refinish the exteriors of storage buildings on the north side of Station 6-5. The exterior surfaces of the wooden sheds are T1-11 plywood and previously painted the surface need a fair amount of prep. In addition to the wood shelters there are steel container that will need to have all the stickers and decals removed during prep. Use paint colors according to the attached painting schedule. Station 6-5 is located at: Cottonwood Public Safety Building, 680 N Seward Meridian Pkwy, Wasilla, AK 99654.
