** This project has been awarded to Bid Dipper Construction in the amount of $$345,000. ** Furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and performing all work for the Hurley Circle Water/Sewer Extension project This project will extend water and sewer service to three properties located on Hurley Circle in Wasilla. Project includes installing: a 6-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main extension; a 2-inch high density polyethylene (HDPE) Septic Tank Effluent Pump (STEP) pressure sewer system extension; three 1-inch water service connections; three 2-inch HDPE residential sewer service lines; and all connections, fittings, hydrants, pump units, vaults, electrical, appurtenances, excavation, and grading as described in the Contract Documents. State of Alaska Title 36 wage rates will apply. Project is subject to the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. Contractors are required to be licensed by the City, Borough and State of Alaska. A bid bond is required in the amount of 10 percent of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a separate performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each in the amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price. The City of Wasilla reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities in Bidding or award of the Contract. Work under this Contract shall be “Substantially Complete” as defined by MASS Section 10.01 by November 30, 2022. Final Acceptance of the work shall be obtained by June 30, 2023.
