Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of constructing the following: Following the clearing, grubbing, removals and grading of the Van Zoeren and Drenthe Grove project areas construct a new paved parking lot and driveway, parking lot striping, new electrical service with lighting, culverts, underdrain, benches, bumper blocks, trail signage, and concrete walkways. Van Zoeren will be restored with turf grass and native seed, and Drenthe Grove sites will be restored with turf grass. A bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check payable to Zeeland Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days after the receipt of bids. Award of the project is anticipated on July 19, 2022 with Notice to Proceed anticipated in August 8, 2022. The owner would prefer to have the Drenthe Grove drive and parking lot work completed as soon as possible upon given the Notice to Proceed. All seeding and planting shall be completed before October 15th, 2022 All Work shall be substantially completed on or before Nov 11, 2022 and shall be completed, fully operational and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before Oct. 21, 2022.
