Site work and renovation of a civil project in Guntersville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work to be done under this Contract by the Contractor, at his/her own cost, shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, tools, documentation, facilities, transportation, services, testing, and equipment, and of performing all work, necessary to construct and fully complete the project entitled, LIFT STATION #8 IMPROVEMENTS all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications and with the requirements and provisions of the Contract Documents. The Contractor's scope of work under this Contract is not limited merely to physical construction and related services, material, or equipment, but also includes the totality of all of the Contractor's obligations (e.g., including insurance, indemnity, and warranty obligations) under or arising from any of the Contract Documents. Sanitary sewer lift station improvements at Guntersville Water and Sewer Board's Lift Station #8 including grading, drainage, and site improvements; fence improvements; provision of a new float-controlled trailer mounted pump and all associated suction and discharge piping as well as electrical appurtenances. The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Guntersville Water & Sewer Board, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Engineer. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the state licensing board for general contractors must be licensed under the appropriate/applicable provisions of state law, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Engineer; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to eject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
