Site work for a water / sewer project in Darien, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Town of Darien (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Phase 1 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation - Old Kings Highway South The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following Work: Providing all materials, equipment, labor, incidentals, and supervision for open-cut sanitary sewer rehabilitation, including manhole frame and cover replacement; temporary and permanent pavement restoration; trenchless rehabilitation of 12-inch diameter asbestos cement sanitary sewer pipe, including pipeline and lateral cleaning and pre- and post-rehabilitation closed-circuit television inspection, cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPPL), reinstatement of service connections (post-CIPPL), cured-in-place lateral lining, and chemical sealing of service connections; manhole rehabilitation, including cementitious and epoxy lining, step replacement and installation, and bench/invert rebuilding; allowance work for cleaning and closed-circuit television inspection of a portion of a 10- inch ductile iron force main; and warranty inspections of rehabilitated sanitary sewer assets, and all appurtenances and related work to complete the Contract. Time of commencement of the Work and Contact Times for completion shall be in accordance with Article 4 of the Agreement. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held for this Project.
