Renovation of a residential development in Guntersville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 15-story above grade, 30-unit residential development.
The Guntersville Housing Au- thority (Owner) invites qualified bidders to submit proposals for the renovation of housing units (15 Buildings, 30 Units) located at Anderson St., Carlisle Ave., & Jordan St., Project 14-4 & Proj- ect 14-5, located in The City of Guntersville, Alabama. Bidder(s) must be Alabama li- censed general contractors and must hold a current license. Any person performing work on this project must be either a licensed contractor or subcontractor or a direct employee of same. A bid bond made payable to The Gun- tersville Housing Authority, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, is required. Per- formance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at the signing of the Contract. The work shall commence on date indicated in the successful bidder's proposal, but work shall start no later than August 29, 2022. The Owner wants all work completed within 489 days after work commences, but comple- tion of work shall be no later than December 31, 2023. Each bidder shall also provide their own projected completion date on the Proposal Form.
